Digital Hospital Letters – East Kent Hospitals

East Kent Hospitals now sends most patient letters digitally. You will now receive a text or email when a new letter is ready to view through the East Kent Hospitals Patient Portal (using NHS login).

Paper letters can still be requested. If a digital letter isn’t opened within a certain timeframe, a paper copy will be posted automatically. Some letters will still arrive by post, including those with specimen kits, letters for children under 13, and patients who choose paper‑only communication.
