Armed Forces Week 2025

Supporting Our Armed Forces Community
Armed Forces Week runs from 23 to 29 June 2025 and is a national opportunity to show support for the people who make up the Armed Forces community—serving personnel, veterans, reservists, cadets, and their families.
Our Commitment to the Armed Forces Community
As part of the NHS and a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, we are committed to ensuring that no member of the Armed Forces community faces disadvantage when accessing healthcare services. This includes:
- Priority treatment for veterans for service-related conditions.
- Specialist mental health support through services like Op COURAGE.
- Support for families of serving personnel and veterans.
- Recognition of reservists and cadets within our staff and patient community.
Get Involved
- Show your support on social media using #ArmedForcesWeek, #SaluteOurForces, and #ReservesDay.
- Learn more about the Armed Forces Covenant and how it supports fair access to services
Are You Part of the Armed Forces Community?
If you are a:
- Serving member of the Armed Forces

We are proud to have Veteran Champions at each of our sites, led by a dedicated Veteran Lead for the entire organisation. They are here to:
- Help identify and support Armed Forces patients.
- Signpost you to specialist services such as Op COURAGE and Veterans Trauma Network.
- Ensure your healthcare needs are understood and respected.
- Advocate for fair access to treatment and support.
