Anticoagulation Clinics were the first service provided by Invicta Health. The clinics were set up following the transfer of patients from the Kent & Canterbury Hospital into the community for monitoring of their Warfarin treatment. There are clinics based at Northgate, Bridge Canterbury Health Centre and London Road Surgery.
As part of a development in Integrated Care, Invicta Health is working collaboratively with Eastern Coastal Kent PCT, Kent & Canterbury Hospital, Community Services and Social Services to deliver integrated clinical and social care for all patients within the Canterbury & Coastal Area. Our role is to provide a GP Service in the MIU/ECC in the local hospital from 9am to 9pm seven days per week.
We provide GP’s to provide care for patients in Faversham Community Hospital In November 2010 we began providing a Dermascope service to allow patients with suspect moles to be reviewed using specialist digital photographic technology at surgeries in Canterbury, Seasalter, Faversham and Herne Bay.
In 2011 we will begin offering community diabetes clinics giving patients the option of being seen in their own GP practice by a specialist diabetic team, including hospital consultants.
